Recruitment Schedule
MESSAGE RE: FALL 2022 RECRUITMENT
Alpha Omicron Pi and Delta Phi Epsilon will be posting their own schedules. PNMs are encouraged to attend their informal events to get to know our Panhellenic members. Click here to view the PNM Bill of Rights.
EVENT 1: SISTERHOOD ROUND
Sign-in will start at the beginning of this round, so don't be late. If you have not registered for recruitment online, you are welcome to arrive 10 minutes early to register with the help of Panhellenic executives.
During Event 1 of Recruitment, you will have a chance to meet the two Panhellenic sororities at Carleton. You will learn about each sorority's history, values, activities, interests and more. Sisters in each sorority will also give you a sense of their sorority’s time commitments.
At the end of Event 1, Potential New Members (PNMs) will rank each sorority.
EVENT 2: PHILANTHROPY ROUND
Sign-in will start at the beginning of this round, so don't be late.
During Event 2 of Fall Recruitment, you will have a chance to talk with the two Panhellenic sororities at Carleton again. During this round you will get to learn about each sorority's unique philanthropic endeavours and financial obligations.
At the end of Event 2, PNMs will rank their favourite sorority and then their remaining sorority in order.
PREFERENCE ROUND
This event is by invitation only. PNMs will be given their own schedule for the day.
During Preference Round, you will visit a maximum of two sororities and the dress code is slightly fancier compared to previous rounds. The focus on this round is sisterhood; each sorority may share a special ceremony or ritual with you.
At the end of Preference Round, PNMs will rank their remaining sororities in order, and sign the Membership Recruitment Acceptance Binding Agreement (MRABA), which will be explained to them during the Preference Round.
BID DAY
This event is by invitation only.
Bid Day is the time when you will find out which sorority has offered you a bid of membership and get to celebrate with your new sisters! You will also get the chance to find out which sororities your Rho Gammas and Panhellenic executives are in!
